Read what others are saying this one of a kind history book; "Douglas Casamer's book is chock full of photographs, documents, and fascinating details and is a narrative description of courage, endurance, and heroism in the face of unimaginably perilous conditions, but most importantly it is a fitting testimony to the sacrifices made by men, officers and enlisted, in whose debt we remain today, for a cause greater than themselves. It is a must read for anyone interested in the history of the Michigan 22nd." J. Atkinson
NOW IN HARD COPY AND INTERNATIONALLY SOLD

My appreciation for the American Civil War was well established as a young lad, because my great grandfather and his five brothers all served in the American Civil War, of which two served with the Michigan Twenty-Second Infantry.

What makes this important to you the reader is, I had been collecting letters, pictures (CDVs) and as many CDVs of the members as one could secure over some twenty five years. Artifacts, Swords, Muskets, and hundreds of regiment documents, which give great support to the regiments value and the story line. It’s a History book of factual material, based on years of research, interviews with living family members, libraries, and other such organizations that held written material on the men, showing there will and courage.

Simply a must read for any Civil War historian. ( I ALSO HAVE HUNDREDS OF GRAVE SITE MARKER PICTURES). If you would like a picture of a certain Veteran's grave site marker, ask first, if I have one I'll add a 5" x 7" Color photograph for only $5.00 dollars additional, but please ask first. Thank you.
